<span \"data-stled-color:#FFFFE0;\">Lung cancer is the most common cause of cancer related deaths in India and worldwide. It is estimated to cause one in five deaths due to cancer. Most patients with lung cancer present in an advanced stages and a significant number get referred late to an oncologist, probably due to a low index of suspicion among the primary treating physicians.</span> <span \"data-stled-color:#FFFFE0;\">Enormous progress has been made in the management of lung cancer, especially in the metastatic setting. This multi-disciplinary cancer meeting aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current evidence in the management of lung cancer. The discussion will be according to each stages of lung cancer with perspective from surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, pulmonary physicians and palliative care experts.
