Do you feel confused and intimidated by the statistical section while reading journals? Do you wish to have a better grasp of the basics of biostatistics? Do you think some kind of formal training will help you to do statistical analysis better? Join us on September 12-14, 2019 at the NCRM Workshop. The workshop will comprise of lectures, group tasks, individual problem solving exercises, hands on training using SPSS and discussions. We have invited experienced professionals with a vast experience to impart us with their knowledge and skills required to understand and perform Biostatistical calculations. Workshop participants are expected to bring their own lap top for hands-on exercises in SPSS.
The Dept of Clinical Pharmacology was established in October 2012 with a mission to excel in clinical research. The department is mainly involved in Clinical Research including sponsored multi-centric Clinical Trials, academic Clinical trials & observational studies. Clinical Research is carried out in collaboration with various departments such as Cardiology,General Medicine, Obstetrics &Gynecology, Nephrology,Respiratory medicine, Paediatrics and School of Biotechnology. The main focus of research is on the identification of novel biomarkers for the prognostication of coronary artery disease, premature coronary artery disease and early pregnancy loss.
SRM Medical College Hospital & Research centre (Kattankulathur, Potheri) is situated in the suburbs of Chennai, GST road (NH-45), 25 km from Chennai Airport. There is a railway junction (Potheri) right across the entrance of the campus. Participants reaching Chennai by train can board the “Beach to Chengalpattu” local train from Beach/Central/Egmore stations to reach Potheri station. The college is also well-connected by bus facilities from the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT), Koyambedu.
