Pirfenidone, a drug used to treat the fight against Covid, may soon improve the health of people suffering from severe heart failure. Scans revealed that after one year on the drug, cardiac scarring had decreased dramatically. In a recent trial, 47 patients with severe cardiac scarring were given daily drugs for a year. The patients' scarring in the heart decreased by 1.21 percent on average, according to scans.

1.21\% is not a dramatic decrease. It may be a chance variation/random error
