Physicians are human beings and sometimes this fact gets lost when a patient is angry or frustrated seeking help from the medical system. And at some point, you must have wished or thought to yourself, that your patient knew this or __fill in__?
For instance, "How privileged you feel to be an integral part of their lives", or "How hard it is to make it through the day/week/month in times like this." or "It’d be helpful if patients tracked their symptoms", or "You can’t give an antibiotic for a cold."
So, what is it that you wish your patients knew?
