The CBSE will hold the NEET - UG, 2017 on 07th May, 2017 (Sunday). There is an increase of 41.42% in the number of registered candidates for NEET-2017 from NEET-2016. This is the highest number of registered candidates for NEET Examination so far. Looking into the substantial increase in number of registered candidates this year, the HRD Minister of India has desired to increase 23 more new examination cities in the list of 80 existing examination cities.

The additional 23 centres includes cities like Guntur, Anand, Gandhinagar, Davangere, Mysore, Kolhapur, Satara, Amritsar, Jodhpur, Vellore, Gorakhpur and more.
