25 y/o male with h/o asthma and dust allergy, experiencing epigastric pain on palpation, excessive burps, more pain while lying down.
USG Abd shows everything normal, but mild edema on stomach wall.
Diagnosis?

@ravishankara I agree with you on allergies and asthma, I had done the same diagnosis, but antacid would have treated pt till now. Pain is still there. Also, pt has no habit of mouth breathing. Asthma + GERD was my D/D.

Sir ,Advice him multiple split meals and gap of atleast 2hour between dinner and sleep. Avoid drinking water immediately after food since these increases reflux. Add proton pump blocker and antacid for short course. Since allergy and asthma exacerbate during midnight and early morning, he may not notice mouth breathing during sleep.He might also now developed turbinate hypertrophy. Correction of allergy with inhalers and nasal spray along with life style modifications may improve the condition.... Read more

Completely agree with you. Don’t know about turbinate hypertrophy, Pt is already on PPI and antacid. Advised him with lifestyle changes.
