A D 13 Rh + baby of a Rh negative mother having persistent jaundice initially put on PT after withdrawal from PT S Bilirubin again shoots to 26 from 10 within 48 hrs .Now after PT for 4 days his S Bilirubin came down to under 10 but his DCT + and RBC clumps are seen Baby is active. How to proceed further

It seems to be Hemolytic disease of newborn due to Rh incompatibility. Usually phototherapy suffice, but in severe cases- blood transfusion or exchange transfusion may be required.
