A case of sub-mandibular duct stone causing recurrent sialadenitis
A 40 yr old male came to sola civil OPD, with complaints of intermittent, dull aching pain and swelling over left sub-mandibular area over 3-4 months. On investigation by OPG a stone was found in Wharton's duct of size 7 mm.
We decided to remove the stone and gland excision by surgery after explaining the patient. Routine investigation was carried out and patient was fit for anaesthesia. So surgery was planned and carried out with no post-op complications.
