As of 10 April 2020, 5:30 PM, the number of coronavirus cases in India has risen to 6,761, while the death toll has reached 206. The total number of people who have been cured, discharged or migrated stands at 516. The number of active coronavirus cases in the country is 6,039.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Maharashtra is the most affected state with 1,364 positive cases and 97 fatalities so far, followed by Delhi with 898 cases and 13 deaths. Tamil Nadu is the third most affected state with 834 cases and 8 deaths.
