Neurological complications though present are very rare with IANB. Hoarseness and dyspnoea can occur very rarely if there is involvemet of the recurrent laryngeal nerve. However these complications are transient in nature and resolve over time. Reassuring the patient and monitering their neurological deficit is the key in such cases.
