Cancer experts say robotic surgery is future of treatment
Lauding the emergence of robotics in oncological surgeries, medical experts from across India, on Saturday, endorsed the idea as the future of cancer treatment.

Experts said surgical management of tumours via robotics is more accurate and makes the job of doctors easier, without the necessity of using a microscope. This also changes the experience for patients as it is done with less incision and speeds up recovery time. So far 600 minimally invasive surgeries (MIOS) have been successful in Hyderabad alone and more than 30 lakh patients have benefited from it worldwide.
