Cancer of Unknown Primary Site: Not All is Lost!
A cancer of unknown primary site (CUPS), previously called as metastasis of unknown origin (MUO), is defined as a metastatic tumor for which the site of origin remains unknown at the time of decision making, despite detailed history, thorough physical examination, laboratory investigations, and mandatory imaging, endoscopic evaluation, but after establishing tissue diagnosis on routinely stained sections.
