DC declares to make Kohima smoke-free city
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohima, Rovilato Mor, who is also the chairman of District Level Coordination Committee (DLCC), has declared to make Kohima a smoke-free city. Mor declared this while speaking at the “Campaign for Smoke Free Kohima City” initiated by the students of tobacco-free schools in Kohima at Phoolbari Junction, here on Thursday. The programme was organized by District Tobacco Control Cell, Health and Family Welfare department. Rovilato invited the participation of tobacco-free schools Kohima to be ambassadors in practicing various guidelines to be issued, within their school compound, family and public places. He also congratulated the tobacco-free schools Kohima for taking the “bold step” and participating in the campaign.
