Dear fellows
I have a case of severe pain and burning rt lower limb, she is 75 years old lady, non diabetic, normotensive.MRI spine was showing L4-5and L5-S1 disc prolapse and of course some osteophytes.Inetially she underwent endscopic discontinued and minimal laminectomy but of no use.
Again she was examined by a neurologist and nerve conduction study was done was normal.By now patient developed some degree of foot drop also. All sort of neuritic pain relievers tried but no relief
Second time she underwent open laminectomy but still no relief.
Ozone shot failed

Now she has been advised for Lignocaine nerve root block.
Can any neurologist or neurosurgeon suggest possible diagnosis
Still she gets severe bouts of pain.
