Since there is no uniform system in place when it comes to deciding the staff pattern and other facilities for employees at private hospitals, the Kerala State Private Hospital Employees' Federation has recommended implementing the Private Hospital Employees Act to put an end to the exploitation in the sector. Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), under which the Federations falls, has agreed that the employees at private hospitals are exploited and there is a need to revise the minimum wages so that every employee of all different categories gets a decent salary.
