Doctors Found A 4 Inch Cement Piece In A Man’s Heart
A 56-year-old man with recent kyphoplasty presented with pleuritic chest pain. He was also experiencing breathing issues a month ago. On examination, imaging showed an intracardiac foreign body. During cardiothoracic surgery, that foreign body was seen perforating the right atrium and puncturing the right lung. Intracardiac cement embolism was diagnosed. According to reports the concrete piece had leaked into a man’s body from spinal surgery.
