Doctors can disregard procedural aspects in emergencies - Supreme Court
Following precautions have been advised by the Court:

-In any accident or criminal case, where the victim is in a serious condition or a woman is in labor, etc., a doctor must keep procedural formalities aside and focus only on the treatment of the patient

-Recording the name of the patient or of the accompanying persons, preparing medical records, or even informing the police in appropriate cases should be postponed if these procedures in any way interfere with the proper management of the patient

-In the present case, the Supreme Court has said in explicit terms - " The priority of the doctor would be to save the lives of the injured and not to make entries”
