Re read the question. question is about rtpcr positive asymptomatic or mild case, if he needs hrct. answer is NO. CORADS depends on RTPCR doctor please check it. CORADS itself is rtpcr dependant. and why will you get an asymptomatic close contact patient to directly go for HRCT if he is already rtpcr positive? nothing will change. only if co morbidities and old age then go for hrct if rtpcr positive. so that remdesivir/toci can be planned with methylprednisolone if RFT permits so, and also to tell about the consolidations and fibrosis.... How do u approach asymptomatic cases sir? Does the guidelines say to go for RtPCR if you are asymptomatic? Or u don' t need to go for any test if u r asymptomatic? This is my doubt sir.
