#Flash: Children Between 2 to 18 May Be Getting Vaccination

Children between the ages of 2 and 18 may be able to get vaccinated against Covid-19 by September this year, according to Priya Abraham, director of the ICMR-NIV. Bharat Biotech's Covaxin studies for children are currently in phase 2-3, and the results are expected to be announced in September. The Covaxin trials is being undertaken in 3 phases by segregating children according to their age. Aside from Zydus Cadila, other vaccine candidates under development include Gennova, Biological E, and Novavax.
