#Flash: Gallbladder gangrene reported in 5 patients after CO

Five Covid positive patients, who recently got recovered at Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, have developed gallbladder gangrene. The patients include-- four men and a woman, aged between 37 and 75. They have been diagnosed with "acalculous cholecystitis", the doctors confirmed through ultrasound and CT scan of the abdomen. Initially, they complained of fever, pain in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen, and vomiting. It is the first time that cases of the gallbladder gangrene have been reported after recovery from Covid-19 infection.
