#Flash: High Stress Hormone Levels Likely To Increase Risk O
According to a new study, adults with high levels of stress hormones are more likely to develop high blood pressure and contract cardiovascular episodes. The study involved 412 adults, their stress hormone levels were measured in a 12-hour overnight urine test. After the follow-up of 6.5 year, every time the levels of the four stress hormones doubled, the risk of developing hypertension increased by 21-31% .This study will help provide information about whether routine measurement of stress hormones needs to be considered to prevent hypertension and CVD events.
