The Health Ministry is mulling to increase the legal age for tobacco consumption from 18 to 21 years. A committee constituted for suggesting legal reforms has submitted its recommendations to the Ministry.

In my perspective, rather than increasing the legal age for tobacco consumption, they should think of how to decrease the consumption as it is really hazardous substance. Tobacco should be banned.

As alcohol is banned in many states, just like this tobacco consuption should be banned totally. Since most of the ORAL CANCER is due to tobacco. So, in my point of view , we must be banned totally rather than to increase the age for consuption of tobacco.
