Hello everyone! It is a really tough time for us as humans as a whole now,and especially for doctors.
Being a medical practitioner,stress is a part of our daily lives all year round. But it has doubled in the COVID times. May it be due to the excess workload,or even sitting at home preparing for an exam! And it's definitely a nightmare for anyone with anxiety problems. So I would like to share a technique I myself apply,when I find myself in an anxiety or panic attack. This goes as,whenever you sense anxiety,SLOW DOWN! And do these 3 things :
1) Count 5 things you can see
2) Count 3 things you can hear
3) Count 1 thing you can smell
You will be surprised at how this simple maneuver can calm your senses! Take care of your mental health too,you're important ?
