In A First, A Tribal Medicine Used For Treating Superficial
In a first, a tribal medicine named Ayush C1 oil, which has been used for over 50 years, has passed the medical trials in All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

According to a report, the Ministry of AYUSH completed the first phase of an herbal drug trial to treat superficial wounds.

The report states that AYUSH C1 Oil, which is commonly used by tribal populations to treat wounds, has been tried on 30 patients who visited AIIMS.

The results were more than what doctors had expected it to be - not only did it provide relief, there were no side effects either.

The trail of AYUSH C1 Oil began back in 2015-2016 after the discovery of the medicine by the Ministry of AYUSH. Dr Maneesh Singhal, Head of the department of plastic, reconstructive and burns surgery.

AIIMS told, “We have completed the first phase of the project and will submit a report to the Ministry by the end of this year.” Dr Singhal said that the results of the drug on superficial wounds have been good and that their results were far better than the rest of the alternatives.

The report alleges that none of the patients who've used it have complained of any ill-effects.

A lot of what is provided by nature can be used to heal, and tribals being closer to nature than the rest of us, can perhaps vouch for that. While you should not believe and follow any random person claiming to be a doctor with the knowledge of herbal, ayurvedic or tribal medicine, you can certainly count on many more remedies emerging from sources similar to Ayush C1.
