DMC has issued a show cause notice to 52 students who forged medical internship certificates and has refrained from giving them medical registration numbers. The students with bogus certificates are from Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Chattisgarh. The DMC had received a tip from the Rajasthan Medical Council after 30 students tried to register with the State Council. The DMC suspects there is a link in these cases and has written to the Medical Council of India and other State Medical Councils to verify all internship certificates before issuing the registration.
