Ahead of the start of various examinations like University Exams as well as competitive and recruitment exams like NEET, UGC NET, etc Health Ministry has released guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on preventive measures to be followed while conducting examinations to contain the spread of coronavirus.

As per the latest guidelines, only those examination centres which are outside the containment zone shall be allowed to function.

Besides, staff or students from containment zones shall not be permitted at the centres. Such students shall be either given an opportunity to undertake the exam through other means or the Universities/Educational Institution shall arrange for taking the exam at a later date for such students, the ministry said.
