Neovascular glaucoma
A 44 year old uncontrolled diabetic & hypertensive patient, who underwent a phcoenulsification with IOL in his RE 1 week back elsewhere presents with IOP: RE-46 mm Hg & LE- 20mm Hg and 360 degree synechial angle closure in RE. RE also shows NVI and NVD and mild VH inferiorly making the probable diagnosis of RE- PDR with NVG. The other eyes shows signs of severe NPDR.He was started on 3 anti-glaucoma medications. Is an FFA examination or PRP contraindicated on account of the elevated IOP.
