Ocular surface leiomyoma in a child after strabismus repair
The present case has been reported in the journal Ophthalmology. A 10-year-old girl, who had bilateral medial rectus recession for esotropia 6 years prior, presented with right eye foreign body sensation for 4 months despite topical steroids.

Examination showed a circumscribed pink 4×3-mm medial ocular surface mass. Excisional biopsy revealed spindle cells arranged in a whorled pattern with elongated nuclei that stained with smooth muscle actin but not S100 confirming a diagnosis of leiomyoma.
