In a meeting of All Rajasthan In-Service Doctors Association (ARISDA) organized on Sunday, the association alleged that the state government is not taking any action on their 33 demands pending for a long time and hence have decided to resign by 6th November. ARISDA is organizing a mass 'sammelan' of doctors in Jaipur on October 29 to collect the resignations. Their demands include - increase in rural allowance, hazardous services allowance, that the government hospitals should function in one shift, doctors should not come under Panchayati raj in rural areas etc.

Last month, the government doctors had gone on mass leave and now they have threatened to submit their mass resignation...
