1.Recommended dose of ppd is 2TU...

2.IGRA test in TB not better than mantoux test and is less sensitive than ppd... 

3.CBNAAT first choice test for diagnosis of TB in children.... 

4.If mantoux is positive and cxr and afb negative... Then EPTB... 

5.EPTB in children is 40%...MC is Lnode..

6.Sensitivity of CBNAAT is upto 80% for all fluids except pleural fluid in which it is 40%...

7.X ray resolution in TB is only after 8-12 weeks...

8.For Cbnaat u need 131 bacilli per ml for detection
For sputum for afb we need 10000 bacilli/ml for det..

9.Wallgren timetable of tuberculosis...important

10.Cbnaat can be done on all except urine, stool, and blood...

11.Steroids in TB... Tb meningitis, miliary Tb and peritoneal Tb....

12.Hypersensitivity reactions in TB... phylcten, erythema nodosum, pleural effusion, Tb encephalopathy....
