Spigelian hernias are a rare clinical entity defined as an anterior defect in the abdominal wall that occurs along the aponeurotic layer between the lateral edge of the rectus abdominus muscle and the semilunar line. Rarely seen in adults, these hernias are observed with even less frequency among pediatric patients. Spigelian hernias are often difficult to diagnose, as the hernias are often interparietal, producing minimal physical examination findings. With very few documented cases of pediatric Spigelian hernias, we report a case of a 16 year-old male patient who presented 10 days following abdominal trauma with a Spigelian hernia....
