#PollOfTheDay: Telemedicine - Advanced technology vs. the ol
Recently the Karnataka Medical Council warned doctors against online consultations because it could end up compromising patients’ safety. National Telemedicine Network portal owned by Central government has clearly given guidelines on setting up virtual OPD and has been doing online consultations in rural areas from the last 2 decades. Now, the telemedicine society of India has strongly objected to the unscientific KMCs comments on Telemedicine.

This has triggered the ethics debate and raised questions of efficacy, privacy and patients' well-being. Where do you stand? Do you agree with online consultations?
