Leiomyosarcoma of vascular origin often occurs in the inferior vena cava, and one that originated from the wall of the inferior vena cava was first reported by Perl in 1871.We herein report the case of a 38-year-old woman with primary leiomyosarcoma that was thought to originate from the inferior vena and to extend to the cardiac cavity.
