A 45-year-old female was undergoing elective squint correction surgery of one eye under local anaesthesia in a
private hospital in December 2013.The patient wasthoroughly
examined in Out Patient Department, investigated for any other illnesses and admitted in hospital one day prior to surgery. There was no previous history of any chronic illnesses. Patient collapsed during surgery and declared dead on the table....
