Over the last 100 years
Medical advancements have helped shape the care and treatment we provide today, and greatly increased the amount of lives saved too.
With every minute being crucial to survival when a medical emergency occurs, it’s never been more important to have the vital life-saving equipment needed close to hand.

This timeline shows you how far medical equipment, including AEDs, has come since the start of the 20th century, and how advanced our medicine has become.
It’s exciting to think about what the next 100 years will bring.
