There is no harm trying something you believe. Facts may turn out to be different than assumptions. Early experiences are valued as well.

Earlier this year when I decided to write "One year of stand up comedy", every second person I discussed it with said "Don't waste your time. Nobody will read and value a one year amatuer experience in stand up comedy. Gain some real experience and when you become something, write about it then " or "Comedians don't read books. The stage teaches them"

I was convinced that they were true. But, wrote it anyway thinking even if it benefits one person, it will be work it. Or worst case scenario of zero copies sell, it will atleast help me look back and guage my growth and understanding over time.

After thousands of books sold in the last 6 months and so many messages/emails about readers finding it insightful has totally made this effort worthwhile.

Thanks to all who read this book and found it useful and to those who believed it wouldn't.
