We used Twitter data to quantify self-reported diet trends during the COVID-19 pandemic. Healthy food consumption increased during the pandemic; alcohol consumption decreased. Proximity to grocery stores and more time at home was associated with a healthier diet. Proximity to liquor stores corresponded with increased alcohol consumption
