Megaloblastic anaemia occurs due to vitaminB12 or folate deficiency. Both of which are rrquired for dna synthesis. So if they are deficient proper cell division cannot occur and thus mature form of cells can' t arise. So neutrophils in blood appear in immature form(hypersegmented form) also called left shift
