Why is the blood pressure high in popliteal artery as compared to brachial artery? Could someone please explain the physics behind it? Thank you.

BP in LL is higher than in UL because LL arteries are directly in continuation with the aorta whereas in UL arteries are not in straight line with the aorta but are more curved as compared to arteries in LL.
