Women without kids more likely to have premature or early me
A new research published in the journal Human Reproduction found higher risk of premature or early menopause among women who began having menstrual periods at a young age and did not have children. As per the study, for women who started having periods at an early age and had no children, the rates of premature menopause were 5 percent and 10 percent, respectively.

The study included 51,000 women from Australia, Japan, UK and Scandinavia, the findings of which can be beneficial to clinicians who can gain valuable time to prepare their respective patients for the possibility of premature or early menopause.
