Adrenaline
A special form of systemic reaction to local anaesthetic s involves epinephrine which is commonly added to local anaesthetic s. its absorption can results in sweating apprehension tachycardia and palpitations. it should not be confused with local anaesthetic toxicity or allergy. epinephrine over dose is usually self limiting but may occasionally cause hypertension or ventricular irritability severe enough to require treatment.
