BMJ Study: Thyroid hormone treatment associated with decreas
A research team of Mayo Clinic conducted an observational study among women treated with thyroid hormone compared to untreated women for risk of pregnancy loss and other pregnancy related adverse outcomes. The findings of the study indicates decreased risk of pregnancy loss in pregnant women with subclinical hypothyroidism - TSH concentrations of 4.1-10.0 mIU/L. However, the treatment also linked to a higher risk of preterm delivery, gestational diabetes, and pre-eclampsia among these women.

The findings of the study were published by The BMJ.
