Cervical cancer is caused by sexually acquired infection with certain types of HPV. Two HPV types (16 and 18) cause 70% of cervical cancers and pre-cancerous cervical lesions. There is also evidence linking HPV with cancers of the anus, vulva, vagina, penis and oropharynx.

HPV can infect the mouth and throat and cause cancers of the oropharynx (back of the throat, including the base of the tongue and tonsils). This is called oropharyngeal cancer. HPV is thought to cause 70% of oropharyngeal cancers in the United States

And some people got oral cancer through oral sex

Then why HPV being an std causing cancer , cancer is always put under the category of non communicable disease ?

Köch' s Postulate #01 - the microorganism or other pathogen must be present in all cases of the disease. The Reason For cervical cancer can be many and not just the HPV Only. COMMUNICABLE DISEASES ARE JUSTIFIED BY KÖCH' S POSTULATES, WHEN THEY APROOVE ALL THE CRITERIAS

But according to the third postulate specifies "should", not "must", because as Koch himself proved in regard to both tuberculosis and cholera, not all organisms exposed to an infectious agent will acquire the infection. Noninfection may be due to such factors as general health and proper immune functioning; acquired immunity from previous exposure or vaccination; or genetic immunity, as with the resistance to malaria conferred by possessing at least one sickle cell allele. There are a few other exceptions to Koch' s postulates. A single pathogen can cause several disease conditions. Additionally, a single disease condition can be caused by several different microorganisms. Some pathogens cannot be cultured in the lab, and some pathogens only cause disease in humans. source - https://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=7105 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koch' s\_postulates...
