Love - According to Medical Science
The word 'LOVE' itself brings immense pleasure in us right?
According to science it is not a mysterious feeling. There is a complexity behind this which drives into that feeling. There are three stages of love.
1. Lust
2. Attraction
3. Attachment
There are various theories which illustrate this concept. But according to our medicine, there is a great neurochemistry which drives all these.
The neurotransmitters, sex hormones testosterone, estrogen, dopamine, oxytocin and vasopressin govern the love and sexual drive.

It is the first stage of love. The drive of lust is promoted by estrogen and testosterone. The limbic system is involved. The feeling of lust has health promoting and stress reducing potential.
It is the second stage of love. It is mediated by adrenaline, dopamine and serotonin. The neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin strike peak values when the person is in love.
It is the third stage of love. It is mediated and driven by oxytocin and vasopressin.

Brain imaging is involved in producing the human experience of love. The foci in the media insula in the brain are associated with instinct and part of the anterior cingulate cortex is associated in creating a state of euphoria. Conscious thoughts about a romantic partner activates brain regions related to reward and motivation.
Love lights the pleasure levels of brain.
Researchers say that falling in love takes only one-fifth of a second. The feeling of love affects the cognitive functions such as mental representation metaphors and body image. 12 centers in the brain are activated when a person falls in love. This sends signals to the heart. The blood levels of nerve growth factor also increase when a person is in love. This is the reason why when love fails it causes emotional sickness and depression as falling in love influences and initiates various hormones and neurotransmission.
The same holds good for all kinds of love. Different parts of the brain are responsible for different kinds of love. The unconditional love between a mother and child is sparked by the common and different areas of brain including the middle of the brain. Passionate love is sparked by the reward part of the brain, and also associative cognitive brain areas that have higher-order cognitive functions, such as body image.

This says that the eternal bliss i.e the feeling leading the world to progress and continue the perpetuation of species – THE LOVE…. Is mediated by our super machine and greatest creation of god i.e our Human brain.
