Have u checked for high points? Take a thorough history of the pain. Pain due to high points may originate only during mastication whereas continuous pain may result from excess tooth reduction that may lead to pain due to the irritation caused by the luting cement, may infact progress to irreversible pulpitis too.. First check for high points, correct it if present next, go for symptomatic relief with analgesics and wait for at least 15days for further investigation as x-ray changes wl only b present after at least 2weeks...
